If you're looking for a FREE World of Warcraft experience; you've come to the right place. Soulbound-WoW is one of the upcoming greatest private servers for World of Warcraft. It presently supports 3.3.2 as of the last time this page was updated.
Soulbound-WoW's main server, Armageddon, is an instant 80 mass PvP battleground realm (shops with most of the best gear available for FREE) with FULL raiding capability for the utmost best gear.
If you already have a WoW client, you may skip this section.
To get a WoW client, download one of the following WoW Downloaders (written by Blizzard, creator of WoW), depending on your operating system. Run the file and let it download. Please note that the game is quite large.

If you are already patched to 3.3.2 (as of the last time this page was updated), you may skip this section.
The fastest and most efficient way to patch to the latest patch for World of Warcraft available is to run Blizzard's Launcher (located in your World of Warcraft base directory) and then start the game through that. Enter a random username and password into the client and if you get an error message that you have an invalid username/password then you are patched to the latest!
Now that you're patched up; it's time to make a Soulbound-WoW in-game account! Register (new window) an account after reading up on the in-game rules. The account you register will be active in-game within a few minutes of creating it.
Now that you have an account and are ready to play on our servers, you'll need to configure your realmlist. If you run a Windows operating system, there is an easy button (new window). However, if you have a Mac operating system; you'll have to manually configure:
- Navigate to your WoW base directory.
- Enter your \Data\ directory.
- Enter your launguage directory. For english, American installations, it is enUS. It follows the pattern of launguageLocation. English European installations is enGB.
- Open the realmlist.wtf file in Notepad or a simmilar editor (Wordpad?).
- Replace the contents of that file with "set realmlist logon.soulbound-wow.com" (no quotes) and save it.
From now on, you CANNOT use Blizzard's Launcher or you will be converted back to standard, paid World of Warcraft. You MUST use 'WoW.exe' ('wow.app' on Mac OSX). Start World of Warcraft with 'WoW.exe' and login using your newly created username and password. Assuming that between 3 and 5 minutes have passed since you created it, you should be able to login. When you get to the server selector, we suggest you select Armageddon if you are new to WoW or you want to experience WoW as it was intended (no leveling).
